Write postcard from New York Imagine that you are on holiday in New York. Write postcard to your neighbour in your class. You have 25 minutes to finish the postcard. See you next week/month) Grammar • Use the present continuous tense to talk about the activities you are doing on your holiday. (The kids are swimming lot) • Use the present perfect to say what you have done (We have been on boat trip ) but use the past simple when you have signal words for the past like yesterday, last night (Yesterday we went) New York sights (Sehenswürdigkeiten) – (see also pages 70-73 in the courseb.)
