Guided Writing: Story 1. Preparation Read the article and choose the best headline. Lucky Escape On Top of the World Man Breaks Leg in Climbing Accident climber who fell down mountain and survived was recovering in hospital yesterday. Nikolai Stravoski, 31, was walking with two friends when he slipped on some ice and fell down the side of the mountain. After falling 500 metres he landed at the bottom, stood up and walked off. He was walking around looking at map when rescuers found him. ‘It was incredible, said Ernst Braun from the mountain rescue team. ‘A man phoned us at 2pm and he sounded really frightened.
